AUTONOMOUS FOOSBALL TABLE

Makerspace I3 detroit

An autonomous foosball table which tracks the ball using a pixy 2 camera and uses a slider crank mechanism to move the men. Made at the I3 Detroit makerspace

NEWTONIAN FLOW SCRIPT

AE6355 Final Project

For my entry descent and landing class i developed a Newtonian fluid model that could automatically calculate the drag and moment coefficients for 3d geometries

MONOWHEEL

Senior Design Project ME 135

For one of my senior design projects my team and I developed a self stable mono-wheel.  This wheel was able to drive itself and remain stable.  This project was programmed in lab-view using the my-rio micro controller.

OCTAIL ROBOTIC BARTENDER

Senior Project 102b

For my second senior design project my team and I developed an automatic cocktail machine.  This machine would mix a variety of 8 different drinks at any percentage combination one wanted as well as dispense both cherries and Ice into the cups. The peristaltic pumpers were also designed and manufactured by my group.

AUTOMATIC T SHIRT FOLDER

ME 130 Project

For my mechanisms class my team and I developed an automatic t shirt folder.  This product used a belt and pulley as well as a 4 bar mechanism in order to fold a shirt both quicker and cleaner than any of my group members could.

FEA CODE

ME C180 Project

For my Finite element analysis class I developed my own FEA code which solve the 1d steady state stress equation and 2d steady state heat equation for complex geometries.  Other features of the code include a genetic algorithm and an implementation of Gaussian integration

WIND TUNNEL LAB

Interpolation Prediction Model

For my Senior Lab class my team and I completed two lab reports.  The first of them required us to create a prediction model that would output the performance of a wind turbine based on three variables, Reynolds Number, rheostat resistance, and pitch angle.  This required the use of a wind tunnel and a complex multidimensional interpolation. The wind tunnel lab report is shown below.

DRONE OCCUPANT PROTECTION

For My Geogia Tech Desing class, my team and I used techniques such as 6-3-5 Method, functional models and House of Quality (QFD) to develop an idea to protect pedestrians from impact from a drone

ROLL CAR LAB

Regression Prediction Model (ME 107)

The second of my senior lab reports involved creating a multi variable regression for a roll car.  This roll car was essentially a wheel which would go up and down a hill.  It was our task to predict what the wheels position and time would be for various drop positions, radius of gyrations and masses.  The resulting model is shown in the lab report below.

LAB REPORTS 102A

102A Measurment Labs

A collection of the labs I did for my measurements class.  These included calibration of sensors, controlling a ping pong ball's height via a fan, controlling the temperature of a resistor, and many more.  All of the labs are combined into 1 pdf document below

WIND TURBINE DESIGN

E26 Project

For my Solidwork's design project my team and I had to design and manufacture a wind turbine.  Ours finished 4th in terms of power output.
